AD: A meeting of the National Highway Authority’s executive board was held under Chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarar.
In the meeting NHA’s financial and administrative affairs were discussed at length
. The meeting accorded approval to award of work for Package-2D of Hakla-DI Khan section of western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
. The length of this package located between Rehmani Khel and Kot Belian in District Mianwali is 13.4 km. Width of this 4-lane motorway will
be 7.3m, while Right of Way will be 100m wide
. The project will cost more than rupees 4 billion and 44 crore
. The meeting also approved award of work for r
ehabilitation of flood affected road portions and construction of bridges between Fazilpur-DI Khan on Indus highway. Under this project, 9.67km road will be r
ehabilitated and three bridges will be built between Fazilpur and Taunsa, while 3 km long road and three new bridges will also be constructed between Taunsa and Ramak. Likewise 13 km long road will be r
ehabilitated between Ramak and DI Khan
. The project will cost more than rupees one billion and 36 crore in total.
